Meet Our Team
Andrew graduated from Birmingham University in 1987, qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1991, and 1 month after gaining his practicing certificate, set up A P Robinson & Co in 1994. The practice started with a few clients and has since grown to become one of the largest independent practices in the region. While Andrew takes an active role in dealing with clients’ accounting and tax requirements specialising in tax planning, it is business development and profit improvement planning that interests Andrew the most, helping clients to maximise their opportunities, increasing their wealth and improving their quality of life.
Andrew is devoted to his family and loves to spend time on various outdoor activities, more recently golf!

Joined APR’s Barton office in 2018 with 20 years’ experience in local practice. Claire qualified as Chartered Certified Accountant in 2005 before becoming a Fellow of the Association in 2010. As well as assisting Sarah in Barton she manages a small portfolio of clients.
Outside of the office Claire enjoys socialising, spending time with her friends and family or watching her local team play football.
Emma joined A P Robinson & Co in 1997 as a trainee. After qualifying as a Chartered Certified Accountant in 2001 she became a Fellow of the Association in 2006.
Emma is responsible for managing the practice which brings in a multitude of skills including Human Resources, IT and mentoring to name but a few.
Away from the office Emma enjoys spending time with her husband and two children, either at a musical, at the cinema, exploring a National Trust property or just hanging around together at home in Brigg.
Emma is an avid murder mystery fan whether that being reading a vintage murder mystery or watching a classic Agatha Christie whodunnit on stage or on the tv. Emma is proud to own all the Agatha Christie books. Scandi Noir dramas are also popular in the Brook home.

Sarah joined the firm as a Junior Accountant in July 1998 and progressed through study to become fully qualified in 2007.
Sarah manages a portfolio of small and medium size business clients. She brings excellent knowledge, empathy and commercial acumen to her engagements. Sarah particularly enjoys assisting clients with business development and tax planning. Her team of full and part qualified accountants assist in ensuring an outstanding level of client care is achieved.
Outside of the practice, Sarah enjoys spending time with family and friends as well as cycling and running often to the benefit of worthy charities.

Hayley joined the firm as a semi senior accountant in 2009 and became qualified in 2012.
Outside of work Hayley has several interests. As well as standing as a beaver scout leader for a local group in Grimsby. She also enjoys cycling and can often be seen in the Lincolnshire Wolds at the weekend.

Rebecca joined A P Robinson & Co in 2006 in the administration team and has worked in several jobs within the firm before settling in Payroll. Rebecca completed the AAT qualification in 2014 and the foundation degree in Payroll Management in 2017, becoming a member of the Chartered Institute of Payroll Professionals.
Outside of work Rebecca has had a passion for Ballroom & Latin dancing for over 20 years and can regularly be found at her Mum’s dance school.
